Psychiatric Center. The plant has all of the infrastructure
(including permit and grid connections) necessary to function as a
co-gen plant but does not have power turbines installed at this
point. Options include repowering with either gas or biomass
fueled turbines and could create 15-25 jobs on site, plus
significantly more if regionally sourced biomass is used as the
fuel. Project estimates have ranged from $5 - $50 million
depending on the scale of the facility.
