It was established in October 2000 and has become the biggest continuous casting mould research and manufacturing base in which the scale of production is the largest, the processing capacity is the strongest and the product varieties is the most complete, with annual production of more than 40,000 of all kinds of mould copper tubes, production capacity of more than 5,000 sets of all kinds of mould assembly, and annual scale of $50 million.

SHougang Changbai mould got third prize of Shougang science and technology and was named one of ten excellent products for three years; In 2009 beam blank muld copper tube won the national patent certificates for untility model and received the honor of the brand-named product and famous trademark in Hebei Province.

The products occupied more than 30% market share are sold to more than 300 domestic iron and steel enterprises, such as Shougang, Tangshan Iron and Steel, Tonghua Iron and Steel, Rizhao Iron and Steel, Sha Steel, Heavy Steel, Tianjin Stee, Panzhihua Iron and Steel, Xing Cheng Special Steel, Handan Iron & Steel and Jinan Iron and Steel. Besides, the company actively expanded the internatinal market and the products are exported to more than 50 countries and regions such as Asia, Europe and the United States.
The company has Vertical hydraulic machine of 500T, 1250T, 3000T, horizontal hydraulic machine of 250T, 400T, 800T, 1250T and hundred sets of special equipment, such as all kinds of lathes, milling machines, pit resistance furnace, multi-functional electroplating device and rectifier. Also there are special testing devices, such as special coating production lines of square and rectangular billet copper tube, production line of continuous casting mold copper plate, coating thickness gauge on COATEST1000 and MOD-Z3 mould taper masuring instrument.
