 Tangshan Mining & Metallurgical Machinery Plant (“TY” for short), is a large national first-class enterprise and a leading enterprise in the national heavy machinery industry, focusing on R&D, test, design, production and installation of sets of machinery, and identified as a mechanical and electrical products export base by the state. The plant covers an area of 473,000 m2, has more than 2,600 employees including more than 400 engineering staffs, fixed assets of RMB 520 million, 751 production equipments and 127 precision large and rare equipments, with an annual production of about RMB 1.8 billion.

1. Belt Conveyor
TY is the birth place of the first belt conveyor in China. Over the years, on the basis of enhancing independent innovation, TY continuously introduces, improves and absorbs international advanced technologies and processes. It takes the lead in development and production of belt conveyor with large belt width, high belt speed, high belt strength, large capacity and different purposes. It now can design and produce belt conveyor which has max belt width of 2.4m, belt speed of 6.1m/s, belt strength of 7,000N/mm and conveying capacity of 9,000t/h, and is over 10km long, and further can design and produce turning belt conveyor and displacement type belt conveyor. The belt conveyor produced by TY was awarded as the title of national “High-class Product” and the only Silver Medal in the like products of China. It passed the certification of National Coal Mine Safety.
With advanced technology, powerful strength and innovative concept, the belt conveyor produced by TY is known as eights firsts in the industry: the first belt conveyor in China, the first high-strength belt conveyor, the first long-distance belt conveyor, the first belt conveyor with large belt width, high belt speed and large conveying capacity, the first “double-purpose” (for people and goods) double-speed belt conveyor, the first downward full explosion-proof hydraulic braking belt conveyor, the first large hosting height belt conveyor, and the first mine cold-resistant belt conveyor, which all have filled the blanks of belt conveyors in China.
Belt conveyors produced by TY are widely applied in more than forty national key projects such as Shanghai Baosteel, Gezhouba pivotal project, Caofeidian Port, Qinhuangdao Port, Jingtang Port, Datong Coal Mine, Zhunge’er Coal Mine, Datang Power Plant, Jidong Cement Plant, etc, with advanced technology, excellent performance and first-class quality, making great contributions for the development of national economy.
2. Sintering, Cooling and Pelletizing Series Equipments
TY is the only professional enterprise with ability to design and produce complete sets of equipment for all main working procedures of sintering process in iron and steel enterprises, and has the ability to design and produce main equipments required for burdening, mixing, sintering, crushing, screening, cooling, return mine and conveyance, etc.
Sintering Machine: Sintering machine is always one of featured products of TY. Now, it can design and produce sintering machines with various specifications from 18 m2 to 600 m2. The sintering machines are featured by reasonable structure, advanced production technology, excellent performance and long service life, and are widely applied in key iron and steel enterprises such as Baosteel, Ansteel, Tangshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Benxi Steel Group Corporation, Tianjin Steel Group Co., Ltd., Chongqing Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd., Laiwu Steel Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Shagang Group Co., Ltd., and Bayi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.. The products have occupied over 70% of market share, and are identified as import substitutes by the state.
Ring Cooler and Belt Cooler: TY is a renowned enterprise specializing in production of ring cooler in China, and now can design and produce ring coolers with various specifications from 40 m2 to 700 m2. The products of this series have a leading position in the aspect of several technological indexes such as complete machine performance, treatment capacity, covering area and energy conservation. Furthermore, it also can design and produce belt coolers with various specifications from 30 m2 to 336 m2, and is the production base of belt coolers with the most complete series and largest specification. Its ring coolers and belt coolers are widely used in Benxi Steel Group Corporation, Tianjin Steel Group Co., Ltd. Laiwu Steel Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Shagang Group Co., Ltd., Bayi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., and Baogang Group, etc, with over 70% of market share in China.
Pelletizing System Device: Pelletizing system technology is a new technology vigorously developed in the metallurgy industry of China in these years. TY developed pelletizing ring cooler, pelletizer, damp mill and other products according to market demands. 150m2 pelletizing ring cooler, phi 7.5m pelletizer and phi3.5*6.2m damp mill are new and high-quality products with the largest dimension in China, filling the blanks of China, reaching the international advanced level, and fully meeting the demands of domestic iron and steel enterprises.
Its sintering, cooling and pelletizing series equipments have been exported to many countries such as Japan, India, Brazil, Turkey and the like, and won the high appraisal from foreign customers with excellent equipment performance and reliable product quality.
3. Hard Tooth Surface Gear Grinding Reducer
Its hard tooth surface gear grinding reducer is designed and produced by special technology, key processing and detection equipment introduced from German Flander in 1980s, and now has formed series products with four series, seventeen varieties, more than two hundred of specifications through many years of improvements, with 100%. The product has the largest tail center distance of 800mm, the largest rated power of 4300kw and drive ratio ranging from 5 to 500. Its various technological indexes all reach the domestic advanced level. The products are famous-brand products in Hebei. It has passed the certification of National Coal Mine Safety. TY provides a great amount of high-quality products for national key projects such as Shanghai Baosteel, Jingtang Port and the like and the industries of metallurgy, mine, coal, electric power, building materials and the like.
In decades, TY has provided more than 1000 varieties of products and near a million ton of machinery equipments for customers at home and abroad. Its products cover more than thirty provinces, cities and autonomous regions all over China in the industries of metallurgy, mine, coal, electric power, traffic, building materials, chemical engineering, grains and the like, and have been exported to more than twenty countries and regions such as the United States, Russia, Japan, South Korea, India, Turkey, Vietnam and the like.
