Forestry exports from Chile will likely reach a total around $6 billion in 2015, a similar level to this year, as an industry group said on Wednesday.

Eucalyptus pulp prices had fallen around 9% in 2014 on an increase in supply from new plants, such as Stora Enso's (STERV.HE) and Arauco's Montes del Plata in Uruguay, the Chilean forestry industry group CORMA said in a report. Prices would likely remain stable or fall slightly in 2015, it also said.

The wood and pulp industry is one of Chile's most important after copper, with growing demand for paper in China a key driver of the market. Leading Chilean forestry firms include Copec's (COP.SN) Arauco, CMPC (CAR.SN), and Masisa (MSS.SN).
