LG Display's AH-IPS technology features the quad HD resolution which is even clearer than full HD to satisfy the needs of customers who want to view the high resolution pictures or Blu-ray video more vividly in mobile. Moreover, the narrow bezel and slim design creates the vivid web environment that is closer to reality.

Quad HD

LG Display developed the world's first QHD (quad HD) AH-IPS LCD panel for 13.9cm smart phones. QHD features WQHD (1,4440x2,560) resolution which is four times conventional HD (720x1,280). For a 13.9cm panel, it represents 538 pixels per inch (PPI). Since the quad HD display implements the images with more pixels, it is visibly different in color, contrast and clarity compared to conventional display. You can enjoy the high resolution pictures or Blu-ray video more vividly. Moreover, the range of image that can be contained on a screen widens and legibility is improved so that the texts are displayed clearly without distortion even when the display is enlarged during web surfing or working with documents.
