As a major contributor to worldwide public infrastructure projects, Marubeni has developed projects in related areas such as investments in the power and water industries, EPC, plant maintenance, and power trading business. Marubeni has done so by capitalizing on its stable revenue base supported by a diverse portfolio and over 50 years of industry experience and insight. Marubeni will focus on activities that contribute to the social and economic growth of the countries and regions it deals with, while further strengthening its well experienced regional sales base as well as its cultivated project development and execution capabilities including EPC cost analysis and procurement abilities, project financing services, and plant operational ability.

Marubeni will focus its efforts on the expansion of its business scale in its fundamental infrastructure businesses, including in power and water, to expand upon its long-term stability and profitability through the diversification of its businesses such as the improvement of asset efficiency by enhancing the operations and management of existing assets, optimization of a diverse portfolio of assets, procurement and installation of equipment, and maintenance/operation/inspection of power plants.
