The 3rd phase of Chifeng NFC zinc smelter is carried out by Chifeng NFC Kumba Hongye Zinc Corporation and completed and commenced production in April 2007. The investment in fixed assets is RMB 346,000,000. Currently, the construction of the 4th phase of the project will be conducted shortly and CNMC is endeavor itsself to construct Chifeng into the “North Capital of Zinc” in China.
