CFRP-Wet Electrostatic Precipitator

CFRP-Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (hereafter called WEP for short) is one of most important equipments for tail gas purification. Through adding high-voltage current into the internal electric field of WEP, free electrons generated from cathode will constantly crash with air molecules which makes it into positive and negative ion. These ions keep crashing with mist and dust ion contained in tail gas and make them electrically charged. Under field action, charged mist and dust ion will move to anode or cathode and deposited after dicarged its electricity. Then under gravity action these mist and dust will deposited at WEP's bottom.
CFRP-WEP adopts a kind of composite material which is made of sythetic resin(as adhesive),glass fiber and its products(as reinforcer) and carbon fiber products(as electrical conducting material). And as these reasons above, CFRP-WEP dose  not only pocess outstanding perfomance of light weight,high strength and chemical resistance which is as same as FRP products, but also has good electrical conductivity which is quite different from FRP products.
Technical features:
1) High demisting efficiency:
Average demisting efficiency is above 99%, max.efficiency can be up to 99.7% and acid mist at outlet can be lower than 5mg/m3
2) Outstanding chemical resistance:
Take an example of our delivered CFRP-WEP in the year of 1993, which is still of good parts,smooth internal surface,no deformation,no resin falling off, no glass fiber exposure or other flaws untill now,
3) Good fire resistance:
Even if there is an arc discharge in the field,it will not ignite CFRP-WEP.
4) Good electrical conductivity:
As CFPR has very good electrical conductivity, tested current value under no-load condition can be up to the rated value.And under operation condition, specific current: for primary, it can be up to 0.3mA, for secondary, it can be up to 0.4mA or higher. This could effectively avoid corona block, and improve demisting efficiency.
5) Light weight,high strength and stable outline demension:
CFRP material can easily overcome the problem that heavy material itself could lead to some parts falling off from WEP body which offen happen to the WEP made of Lead material.
Meanwhile,CFPR also can sovle the problems of bad conductivity,low efficiency,weak construction strength,bad weather resistance and easy to crack which offen happen to the WEP made of PVC material.
6) Adopt "Alveolate Shape" on dust collecting pole chamber, which can make the internal and external surface of every pole tube to be a deposit surface, so that there will be no dead zone between tubes.
