Panoramic Sliding Sunroof
The panoramic sliding sunroof comprises the pop-up wind deflector at the front, a glass sunroof which slides over the exterior of the roof and a fixed glass roof section at the rear. When the sunroof is opened using the switch, the wind deflector is first raised. Then the sunroof is raised upwards and slid backwards over the fixed glass roof section at the rear. In addition, two motorised sunblinds are housed in the central cross strut of the panoramic sunroof, which can be extended simultaneously, one forward and the other towards the rear.
The PRE-SAFE® closing function is activated in the following situations:
• Panic braking: the level of deceleration desired by the driver is far higher than the rate of vehicle deceleration which can be achieved on slippery roads (aquaplaning, ice, snow)
• Critical steering movements: rapid steering movements at high speeds (> 140 km/h), which indicate a panic response by the driver and can destabilise the vehicle
