After entering into the cylinder, the iron concentrate fines will be repeatedly thrown by the lifting board, forming the cascade, and then sent back into cylinder to exchange with heat flow under the effect of gravity and rotation. The material is thrown repeatedly, so the water contained can be gradually dried. Under the influence of dispersion plate with certain gradient and heat flow, the material can be controlled to move to another section of the dryer to produce the finished products. Comparing the cylinder dryer with ordinary dryer, the former has stronger carrying capacity and higher efficiency.
The rotary dryer is mainly comprised of rotary body, lifting board, driving devices, supporting equipment, seal ring etc. Inside the dryer, there are two types of operation: co-current type and counter-current type, according to flow directions of the material and heat gas. While choosing the operation, the decision must be based on the characteristics of the material, particle diameter, the final requirement of the moisture and the workshop layout and so on.
